Child Safety Standards
Our standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation. Last updated June 2026.
Our commitment
Touge Atlas has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and for child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Touge Atlas is a community for adult car enthusiasts to discover roads, events, and car culture in Japan. Its social features (Friends, invite codes, and crews) are intended for adults and are not designed for or directed at children.
What we prohibit
We prohibit, and act against, any content, account, or behaviour that:
- sexualises, endangers, grooms, or exploits a minor;
- shares, solicits, or links to child sexual abuse material (CSAM);
- attempts to use Touge Atlas to contact a minor for any sexual or exploitative purpose.
Accounts that engage in CSAE are removed and permanently banned. This is in addition to the zero-tolerance user-conduct policy in our in-app Terms.
How to report
Anyone can report a user or content without leaving the app:
- In the app: open the person in your Friends list (or a pending request), tap Report, and choose a reason. Reports reach us directly.
- By email: contact info@tougeatlas.com with details. Please include the user’s screen name and what you observed.
We review reports promptly. You do not need an account to email us.
How we respond to CSAM
When we become aware of apparent child sexual abuse material or CSAE, we will:
- remove the content and permanently ban the account;
- preserve relevant data as required;
- report to the appropriate authority (including the U.S. National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, NCMEC, and/or law enforcement in the relevant jurisdiction) and cooperate with their investigations, in line with applicable law.
